ROSCOE – Funeral for Frank William Pietzsch, 72, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Salem Lutheran Church near Roscoe with the Rev. E. A. Rode, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery with Wells Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Pietzsch, who had lived southwest of Roscoe for the past 25 years, died at 8 a.m. Saturday in Sweetwater's Simmons Memorial Hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Born July 21, 1891, at Crawford, he married Ida Teetz there Nov. 28, 1912. He was a prominent Roscoe farmer and member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Laverne Brooks of Sweetwater; three sons, Herbert, Frank H. and Wilbert, all of Roscoe; nine grandchildren; and one brother, Emil of Dallas.
Nephews and cousins will serve as pallbearers.
