Mrs. Edna Moody died at 4 o'clock November 18, 1943 at her home in Gosnell after a short illness of pneumonia. She was 40 years old.

She leaves her husband, Hughey Elmer Moody, three sons, Pvt. James Moody, of the Navy stationed in the Pacific. Hughey Elmer Moody Jr., of Gosnell and Gene Moody of Rietch, Oregon, a daughter, Bobbie Moody, two sisters, Mrs Gertie Lambert and Mrs. Cordie Wright, both of Gosnell and two brothers, Chester Pinkley and Johnny Pinkley, also of Gosnell.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church at Gosnell, with the Rev. Bugg of Half Moon, officiating. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Cobb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
