Tom was 21 when he enlisted in Company H, 25th Tennessee Infantry on August 5, 1861 at Livingston. Private Thomas M. Boswell died at Yandell Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi on May 13, 1862. He left $62.50 in personal affects to his brother Andy.
