Jerry was to Glenn and Laura Stickney Foster, she was the oldest of two children in the family. When she was six years old the family moved to Lead. She attended USD, Black Hills State College and St. John’s Nursing School.
Jerry married Jim Baumann, they were parents of eight children . After 20 years of marriage they were divorced. Jerry and the children moved to Hot Springs, SD where she was employed at the VA for 25 years.
Jerry remarried on February 2, 1973 and the had a child.
She is survived by her husband,5 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren,
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bill; four sons, James Baumann, Charles Baumann, Timothy Baumann and Bill Baumann and grandson Peter Weiers.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery in Lead. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Trinity United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are under the care of the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
