Glendale, April 1.--George Rauscher, grandfather of Betty Compson, film star, died here last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Compson, 441 Randolph street, aged 80 years. Besides his daughter Rauscher is survived by Betty Compson, who in private life is Mrs. James Cruze, Flintridge; another daughter, Mrs. R.L. Farnsworth, and two other grand-daughters, Mrs. J.B. Coleman and Mrs. W.C. Wizek, both of Glendale. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Incarnation, on North Central avenue, and the body of Rauscher will be sent back to Salt Lake City for interment.
