Margaret Ann Mitchell, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening (March 10, 2016). Ann was born on April 12, 1948 to the late Charles Ernest and Rita Lucille Casey in Kingsport, Tn.
Ann was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church for over 12 years. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her pet fish, and her furry-friend "Willie Grace". She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her son, William Ray Mitchell; two brothers, Charles Junior Casey and Jay Casey; and sister, Sue Casey.
Ann is survived by the love of her life, Thomas Junior Mitchell; son, Troy Mitchell & wife Rachel; step-daughter, Patricia Mitchell; seven grandchildren, Joseph Scott, Justin Mitchell, Dustin Mitchell, Jarred Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell, MyKayla Mitchell, and Peyton Ford; one great-granddaughter, Aubree LeAnn Mitchell; four sisters, Linda Helton, Faye Hammonds, Sherry Franklin, and Rose Tesnear; special friend and caretaker, Shirley Gass; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Committal services will follow the funeral service in the Christus Garden at East Lawn Memorial Park.
East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park has the honor of serving the Mitchell family.
