Robert J. Sherman, 92 of Chaumont passed away Friday morning at the Samaritan Medical Center ER.
He was born December 3, 1923 in Watertown, the son of James and Louise Reinagle Sherman. He graduated from Watertown High School.
Robert married Louise J. Phelps on November 25, 1943 at the Clayton United Methodist Parsonage. He then served a short time in the US Army in 1946 and was honorably discharged.
Robert was employed by the I.B.E.W. local 910 as an electrician. He was a member of the Depauville United Methodist Church, I.B.E.W. and a former Depauville Free and Accepted Mason.
He is survived by his wife Louise; two sons; one daughter; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister.
