VENICE, Utah - Virgina Cowley Bredsguard, 44, passed away peacefully at home in Venice, Utah August 12, 2000, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 16, 1956, to A. Merrill and Marva Cowley. Married Kim R. Bredsguard in the Manti LDS Temple May 7, 1956.
Virgina attended schools in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School.
She was employed at Cowley Farm and Feedlot in Venice. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings throughout her life. She was a loving wife and mother, devoted to her family. She and her family enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked camping at Fish Lake. She will be remembered for her amazing patience and grace with which she faced all of life's challenges. She enjoyed a rich heritage of faith and righteousness, which she has valiantly passed on to her family. She will be greatly missed.
Survived by her husband, Kim, Venice; daughters, Lori (Brian) Snyder, Salina, Jolene (Mike) Erickson; sons, Dalen Bredsguard, Cedar City, Daniel Bredsguard, Venice; grandson, Kaden Erickson, Salina; brothers and sisters, Russell (Deb) Cowley, Richfield, Stewart (JaLayne) Cowley, Orem, Bryan (Christina) Cowley, Pleasant Grove, Dale (Julie) Cowley, Dunham, N.C.; mother-in-law, Zenda Bredsguard, Richfield; sister-in-law, Dalene (Paul) Brown, Orem; brother-in-law, Kirk (Annette) Bredsguard, Central; 17 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Doris Cowley.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thurs. Aug 17, in the Venice LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary 7-9 p.m. Wed. and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial, Venice Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT
