Ella L. Kohn was the daughter of George and Bertha B. Shaffner Kohn. Ella married Sigismund Nahm on 15 October 1893 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Ella and Sigismund Nahm had six children in Las Vegas, New Mexico. They were the following: Helen, Ruth, Henry, Joseph, Milton, and Miriam.

Mrs. Ella K. Nahm
Area Pioneer, Dies

Ms. Ella K. Nahm, 1019 Douglas, widow of the late Sig Nahm, pioneer business man and long time resident of this city, died in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon following an extended illness. She was 78 years of age and had been in ill health for several months.
She was born in Leavenworth, Kan., in 1873, the daughter of George and Bertha Kohn and was reared and educated in the city schools there. She came to New Mexico and to Las Vegas to make her home following her marriage to Mr. Nahm in 1893. He preceded her in death in 1932.
Survivors include two daughters, Misses Ruth and Miriam Nahm, of Las Vegas, and three sons, Henry, Breckenridge, Tex.; Joe Nahm, of Carlsbad, N. M ., and Milton Nahm, of Bryn Mawr, Pa. Also three sisters, the Misses Minnie and Gertrude Kohn, and Mrs. Grace Marx, all three of Las Vegas.
The remains are in care of the Rogers Mortuary, and funeral announcement will be made later.
