Mary Louise Stringer was born in Concordia Parish on June 27, 1933 [sic 1934] to the union of Alex and Katie Grimes Laffoon and died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Citizens Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Columbia, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: J Lee Stringer, her daughter: Renda Santos and her brothers and sisters: Huey Laffoon, Harvey Laffoon, Henry Laffoon, Tennie Price, Thelma Gibbs and Raymond Laffoon.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and John Westrup, Cindy and David Wilson, Wendy and Johnny Acosta all of Hebert, LA, her grandchildren: Bryan Santos, Brandy Dannehl, Brad Wilson, Lee Ann Wilson and Christy Westrup, her great-grandchildren: Macee, Taylor, Christin-Ann and Tripp, her brother: Dewey Laffoon and her sister: Velma Hatten of Columbia, LA.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Dannehl, Brandon Dunn, Mitch Bratton, Timmy Brown, David Wilson and George Hatten.
