William Lee Winterstein of Sudlersville, MD died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 75.

Mr. Winterstein was born on February 9, 1938 in Glen Arm, MD the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Winterstein. Mr. Winterstein was a 1956 graduate of Sudlersville High School. After high school, Mr. Winterstein went straight to work farming and has done so all his life. In 1979, he married Jean Winterstein and the two started their family together. Mr. Winterstein was a member of the Queen Anne's Agriculture Preservation Board, Farm Bureau, the Holstein Association, and the Queen Anne’s Conservation Association. He loved to work, spend time with family and to collect and work on Ford cars, especially Mustangs.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, “Little Bill”.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Winterstein of Sudlersville, MD; four daughters, Amber Greenwood of Chestertown, MD, Ginny Moran and husband Gary of Sudlersville, MD, Carolyn Minsker and husband Scott of Townsend, DE, Lee Winterstein of Marydel, MD; two sons, William Winterstein and wife Elizabeth of Sudlersville, MD, Wesley Winterstein and wife Ashley of Sudlersville, MD; two sisters, Norma Weller of Sudlersville, MD, Betty Elburn of Sudlersville, MD; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
