Mary E. (Biggs) Adams, 95, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday May 4, 2002 at Country Club Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on July 2, 1906 in Knox County to the late Eli and Cora (Black) Biggs. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Vine Street, the Town and Country Garden Club and the Ohio Eastern Star, Grove City Chapter 502. Mrs. Adams received her Nursing Degree from the Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Tulane University.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, Frank Biggs, Katherine Roman, Jean Moorhead, Mary Lou Roberts, Richard Biggs, Robert Biggs, and good friends Shirley Shotts and Paula White.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Luther Adams, and three brothers, Byron Biggs, Frank Biggs and William Biggs.
