Daughter of the late Leland and Hazel Hazzard, Janet was a lifelong Capital District resident who was very active with the Salvation Army in Schenectady. Later in life, Janet enjoyed vacationing during the winter months in Bradenton, Fla. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Arland A. Chapman who died in April of 1991. Survivors include a companion Ray Berthiaume ; two daughters; two sisters, Carrie Krupski of Cohoes and Edna Zullo of Mechanicville; several grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
