Irvin Crosby, 86, of Browerville, passed away Jan. 29, 2016. Interment was held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Browerville.

Irvin was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Randall, to William and Anne (Kestner) Crosby. He was in the Marine Corps and served in the Korean War where he received the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. He met Betty Pechan at [the] Whoopee Inn in Cushing and [on] Aug. 25, 1956, they married at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Browerville. Together they raised 10 kids on a dairy farm east of Browerville. They both loved gardening and taking vegetables to the farmer's market. Irvin also worked at Land O' Lakes Creamery for over 23 years. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cards with family and friends and attending all of their special events.

Irvin is survived by 10 children, Bruce (Annette) Crosby, Mark Crosby, Wayne (Pat) Crosby, Laurie (Ross) Korlin, Charlet (Allen) Blommel, Mona (John) Wippler, Randy (Missy) Crosby, Steve (Lisa) Crosby, Cheri (Paul) Moore and Gerard (Jen) Crosby; siblings: Calvin (Addie) Crosby, Marion Frahm, Bing (Pat) Crosby; 37 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Irvin is preceded in death by his wife, Betty; parents, William and Anne Crosby; sister, Joyce; and granddaughter Krin.
