John George Milliron, son of Jacob Milliron & Leah Schrencengost, married Mary Ellen Gearhart 30 Jan 1868 in Mahoning Twp. Armstrong Co. Born 12 Apr 1844 in Wayne twp. Armstrong co. Died 28 Dec 1923 buried in McCrea Furnace Cemetery.

John Milliron and Mary Gearhart were married at her father, John F. Gearhart's, residence Mahoning Twp. Armstrong Co. PA by the Rev. T.W. Plotts. He was a farmer.

After a lingering illness J.G. Milliron Aged 80, died at his residence near McCrae's Furnace, Wayne Twp., Armstrong Co., Friday Morning at 6:00. Deceased was one of the best known and most highly respected residents of that section.
For many years he engaged successfully in farming. He was a devout member of the Evangelical Church and served as superintendent in the Sunday School continuously for half a century. Mr. Milliron was a veteran of the Civil War.
