JAMES S. LEWIS DIES EARLY WEDNESDAY
James Samuel Lewis, 74 years old, died at his home on South Jefferson at 3:30 am Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be at the Palmer Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. LeRoy Numvon officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery.
Mr. Lewis was born in Laclede county Feb 27, 1867 and has lived here practically all his life. He is member
of the Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. L. L. Haines of Artesia, Calif; two sons, L. P. Lewis of Globe, Ariz; Farmer J. Lewis of Salem. The body will lie in state at the Palmer Funeral Home until funeral services.
