Vivian Gail Curwin, 94, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 3, 2015. She was born on May 10, 1921 in Argyle, MI to the late Charles and Minnie Maude Spaetzel Sharrard.
She is survived by her 3 loving children, a niece , as well as seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Vivian was predeceased by her husband Gerald A. Curwin, Sr. in 2003.
With her husband, Gerald, she relocated in 1953 to establish the national Baha'i community of the Bahamas, earning the title Knight of Baha'u'llah. Later, she taught the Faith energetically and served on the regional teaching committees with home bases in the Carolinas and New England.
