Virginia (Fabiano) Bonfiglio Virginia (Fabiano) Bonfiglio Lansing Born 100 years ago to Charles and Michelina (Caruso) Fabiano in Holland, Michigan, Virginia passed away February 5, 2009. Virginia worked at Fabiano's Candy and Ice Cream Store in Holland. In 1937 she married Gabriel Bonfiglio. She moved to Lansing and worked for several years at Bob's Fruit Market before retiring. Virginia was an avid University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University fan. She was a member of the Santo' Ippolito Society and a longtime member of St. Casimir Parish. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel; her parents; brothers, Michael, Louis, James; sisters, Julia, Louise, Josephine; sister-in-law, Jane Fabiano; brothers-in-law, Sam Caruso, Joel Young; and nephews, Charles Caruso and John Blair, Jr. Surviving are her sister, Esther Fabiano-Young; nephews, James (Mary Ann) Fabiano, Charles Fabiano; nieces, Madeline Blair, Kathleen (Richard) Ghinelli, Linda Fabiano, Emma Caruso; 16 great-nieces and nephews; 25 great-great-nieces and nephews; and 3 great-great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2009 with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing 48917 and viewing from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. The Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, 810 W. Sparrow Avenue, Lansing with Father Bill Lugger, officiating. The Rite of Committal will be Deepdale Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to IHM/St. Casimir Catholic School in memory of Virginia.
