beloved husband, father and grandfather, born Feb. 6, 1917, in Petersburg, Texas, was taken home by his Heavenly Father, Sept. 8, 2006, at the age of 89. Joe moved to Palmdale in 1951, as a General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. He loved dancing,
sports and mining. Earlene, his loving wife of 61 years, survives him. He is also survived by his children and their spouses: Glenda and Steve, Sue and Tom, and Tom and Teri. His youngest son, Rick preceded him in death. Other living family members are: one sister, Fran of Ohio, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His other siblings, Alma, Gladys, Mable, Dee and Glenn preceded him in death. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park Palmdale.
