Harriet A. Daniels was born September 28, 1849, in Delaware county, Iowa, having reached the age of 80 years, 10 months and 14 days at the time of her death. She was one of the family of eight children, all of whom have passed away with the exception of one brother, Elwin E. Browder of this city.
She was married to S. Z. Williamson in Delaware county, in 1869, and moved to Albion in 1871. To this union was born one son, William A. Williamson of Council Bluffs.
In 1883 she was married to Wm. B. Daniels who played a prominent part in the early history of this county. One son was born to this marriage, Lyman E. Daniels of Council Bluffs.
She moved to Council Bluffs in 1901 and resided there until the time of her death, July 12th. Others surviving her besides her brother and two sons, are one step-son, H. E. Daniels of Los Angeles, California, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Daniels was a life long member of the Methodist church.
The body was brought to Albion and funeral services were held from the E. E. Browder home Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. A. Taylor, and interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
