FORMER RUSTONITE DIES IN SHREVEPORT TO BE BURIED HERE
Mrs. C A Matthews, 79, sister of Mrs. Will Tomlinson of the Barnett Springs community, and Mrs. Fannie Cook of the Cook town community succumbed in Shreveport Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
Services will be held in Shreveport Thursday morning, with the bodybeing brought her for burial in the Cook's Chapel cemetery about 1p.m.
Mrs. Matthews is a former resident of near Ruston and has numerous nieces and nephews in this parish.
Also surviving are another sister, Mrs. Joe Alexander, Monroe, and two brothers, Ed Nelson, of Monroe, and Dr. J S Nelson, of Wichita Falls,Texas.
Mother of 8 children:
Jim, Mattie, Willie, Hattie,William, Lula, Mae, and Jessie.
