Funeral services for Jessie Steinberg Beard, 87, will be at 2p.m. Wednesday in the Congregational Church in Lebanon with the Rev. John Masters officiating.
Burial will be in the Lebanon City Cemetery under the direction of Palmer-Pickering Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beard, a retired school teacher and formerly of Lebanon, died Monday at the John Knox Village in Waynesville. She is survived by her husband, Col. John Beard (Ret.); one daughter, Eugenia Allen, Raytown, one brother, Charley Bevier, Springfield.
