MUNCIE--Lois J. Hamilton, 92, died Monday in the Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born Feb. 13, 1911 in Forest, Clinton County, to Luther B. and Susie McAdams. Mrs. Hamilton lived in the Yorktown area most of her life and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn L. Millspaugh (husband: Rex) of Springport; granddaughter, Amy Pettigrew of Anderson and grandson, Thomas P. Pettigrew of California; her daughter-in-law, Priscilla Hamilton of Muncie; and granddaughters, Kim Rodriguez of Texas and Julie Brummett of Indianapolis; as well as two stepgreat-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Hamilton; her son, Jack A. Hamilton; her son-in-law, Thomas G. Pettigrew; and nine brothers and sisters.
Private services were with entombment in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Memorials may be sent to St. John's Hospice in Anderson. The Meeks Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
