Virginia McCann of Marble Falls, Texas passed away peacefully on December 19, 2015 after a brief illness. Ginger was born in Elgin, Texas on May 12, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Leslie Wolfe, mother, Anna Ruth Wolfe, Loving Husband, Bill McCann and son Trenton Lee McCann.

She is survived by her three sons and daughter in laws; Trey and wife Colleen, Todd, Tere and wife Sydney, ten grandchildren Max, Mason, Madeline, Clay, Megan, Mitch, Sara, Emily, twins Carson & Wilson. Ginger is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

After graduating from McCallum High School in Austin, Texas in 1960, she married her high school sweetheart Bill in August 1960 in Austin. There she raised four boys. In the early 90's, she became a flight attendant for American Airlines, a career she loved. She retired and later became a restaurant franchise owner with Bill in Taos, New Mexico and Marble Falls, Texas.

Ginger took the most pride at being the BEST Grandma and Mom she could be and was loved dearly by all who knew her. She loved all the employees of KFC as if they were her own children. Her passion for spending time with her quilting and needlepoint friends was unmatched by anyone.

The McCann family gives our heartfelt thanks to staff of St David's Hospital; also all of the staff of Hospice Austin's Christopher House.

A Gathering will be held at Cook Walden at 6100 N. Lamar Monday. Graveside services are at Austin Memorial Park on Hancock Drive.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to the hospice.
