Richard "Ricky" Daniel Jones, a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in San Diego, CA, following a tragic traffic accident. He was 20.

He was born in Lewiston, NY on January 1, 1994, the son of Daniel R. and Dorothy (Hughes) Jones of Niagara Falls. Richard was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Class of 2012. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps with the military police, stationed in San Diego.

Ricky enjoyed various outdoor activities, including boating, camping, ATVs and his truck. Ricky also enjoyed the drums. He was a volunteer fireman with the Frontier Volunteer Fire Company, Town of Wheatfield..
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Valerie Jones of Niagara Falls;
grandparents, Anne and Richard Jones; Evelyn "Lois" (late Henry) Hughes;
great-grandmother, Nina Aikens;
aunts and uncles, Deneen (Steve) Smith, Julie (Patrick) Scholl, Henry (Sandy) Hughes, Joyce (Jerry) Wiepert and Donald Hughes; his friend, Marteea Martinucci and several cousins.
