Thank you for being my Dad, for loving me unconditionally and for all you taught me.

"A Dad isn't defined as the man who makes the child, but rather the man who raises and loves the child with all his heart through anything. Blood doesn't always make a man a Dad, being a Dad comes from the heart."

I will love and miss you all the days of my life Dad. I remain your devoted daughter and look forward to the day we are all together again.

May 12, 2022 at 3:28 p.m. CJP's dream visit from Dad:

"I just woke up out if a dream. It was night and I was hugging Dad. We were both crying because we missed Mom ~ your Rose ~ so much.

I kept crying, hugging you tight Dad saying, Oh, Dad, oh Dad and I was sobbing - saying how much I missed her. The grief was so heavy in my heart from Dad from losing Mom.

You shook his head in grief too and understanding and sadness. As we hugged each other, we both cried.

It was as if you were conveying to me through your hugging and shaking your head sideways, you knew how much I missed Mom and you understood my sorrow.

Then I woke up thinking you were still alive, but it took me a minute to realize you were not alive Dad. You were dead — I couldn't remember Dad that you died.

I said to myself, that's right Dad died before Mom.
Then I felt pain and deep sorrow missing you Dad.

I realized Dad you just came to visit me in my dreams to show me your love and support."

Prayer for the Brokenhearted

Merciful Lord of Life, lift up my heart to you in my suffering and ask for your comforting help. I know that you would withhold the thorns of this life if I could attain eternal life without them. So I throw myself on your mercy, resigning myself to this suffering. Grant me the grace to bear it and to offer it in union with your sufferings. No matter what suffering may come my way let me always trust in you.
Thank you for being my Dad, for loving me unconditionally and for all you taught me.
