LANDON, JOHN NOBLE Age 83, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2013 at his home in Lancaster, California. John was born on October 12, 1929 to Noble and Christina (Baca) Landon in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He had three (half) siblings: Anona, Lenore and Lawrence Landon. John graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1948. He served in the Navy during the Korean WAr. While training in Tucson, Arizona, he met his future wife Lidia Arreola. They married in 1955 and soon after moved to California where he spent the rest of his life. John spent 28 years working for Lockheed Martin as a training supervisor. John is survived by children John Anthony and Mary Landon, Lidia and Greg Michael, Tina and Michael Winfree; his grandchildren Aubrey Landon, Gabriel and Laura Michael, Raquel, Giovan, Garrett, Giancarlo and Angelina Michael; goddaughter Alexandra O'Shannon; sister-in-law Susie Arreola; and numerous nieces and nephews in Tucson and Albuquerque. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 17th at Father Serra Parish Catholic Church. A Vigil/Rosary was held on Friday, August 16th at Halley Olsen Murphy Chapel in Lancaster
