Services for Mary Louise Adkison, 93, of Diboll will be held in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Adkison was born December 31, 1921 in Zavalla, Texas to the late William Alexander and Agnes Samantha (Herrington) Trigg, and died Friday, December 4, 2015 in a local hospital.

She had resided in Diboll since 1941 and was a florist for more than 20 years. Mrs. Adkison was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Curtis Parten; second husband, Rev. L.D. Adkison; brother, Leon Cheshire Trigg; and sister, Gladys Swearingen.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Steve Berry, and Betty Jean Jones; granddaughters, Mary Kathleen Poret, Jennifer Christine Oliver and husband Charles, and Sara Foxworth and husband Scott; grandsons, Curtis Lee Stanley, Jerry Lynn Ferguson, Richard Ferguson and wife Bridgette, and Billy Ferguson and wife Nicole; 14 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Bill Kirby; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
