He retired from Monongahela Power Company as a lineman after 34 years of service. He also attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Phillips Forshey; three children, Jon (Tammy) Forshey of Mineral Wells, Beth (Jimmie) Cremeans of Mineral Wells, Darlene (Al) Witchy of KY; three step-children, Michael Morton of Parkersburg, Connie Gaston of Parkersburg, Vicki Gates of Mineral Wells; nine grandchildren; Five great grand children; and one brother, James (Sarah) Forshey of Mineral Wells.
Services will be Saturday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Rod Blanchard officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells, WV.
