Billy Floyd Collinsworth, 59, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2015. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow in Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas.
Billy was born in McKinney, Texas, to the late William Jasper and Myrtle (Williams) Collinsworth. He married Dianne Medcalf on June 9, 1979 in Melissa, Texas. Billy loved sports and played football, baseball and softball when he was younger. Billy enjoyed working and worked for Argos Concrete as the operations manager for over 27 years. He had a great sense of humor and loved to crack jokes. Billy enjoyed going to Choctaw.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Glenn Collinsworth.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Dianne Collinsworth; daughters, Katherine Collinsworth, Tonya Collinsworth, all of Princeton, Texas; brothers: Ronald Collinsworth, Jackie Collinsworth both of McKinney, Texas and Gary Collinsworth and wife, Brenda, of Buckatunna, Mississippi; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
