Rush Springs - Funeral for MATTIE GERTEEN HARRISON, 95, Rush Springs, Okla., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Rush Springs, with the Rev. William Dorough officiating. Mrs. Harrison died Friday, July 30, 2004, in Marlow, Okla. Burial will be at Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, Marlow.
She was born May 23, 1909, in Big Spring, Texas, to Marion Jasper and Maloney Fairchild Manning. She attended school at Pea Ridge. She married Oliver Willous Harrison on Nov. 29, 1925, in Marlow. He died Feb. 25, 1998. She was a lifelong resident of Rush Springs and was a housewife. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Rush Springs.
Survivors include a son, Clif Harrison and his wife Laraine, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Doris Lutonsky and her husband Marvin, Rush Springs; and a daughter-in-law, Antonia Harrison, Patra, Greece; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a son, Bob Harrison (FAG #22113152); a grandson, Oliver Dewey Harrison (FAG #22113165); five brothers; and five sisters.
