Graveside services for Billy Ray Green, 83, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Athens Cemetery with J.W. Adair officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Green passed away November 13, 2015 in Tyler. He was born October 21, 1932 in Grand Saline. He retired from Andrews and Foster Drilling Company.
He lost the love of his life, Dana Joan Murry Green, after 50 years of marriage in December 2006. He is also preceded in death by parents, Floyd Melvin and Lottie Viola Whitus Green, son, Billy Don Green, daughter, DeLaine Mae Duree, son-in-law, Rodney Duree, grandson, Lake Duree, brother, James Durwood “Fiddle” Green, and sister, Bobbie Mae Busenhart.
Survivors include son, Daryl Green and wife Jennifer of Beebe, Arkansas, daughters, Deborah Elaine Bell and husband Jim of Brownsboro, Donna Lynn Matthews and husband Fred of Brownsboro, Darlena Kay Vandiver and husband David of Trinidad, grandchildren, Nicole Dodd and husband Justin, Twyla Rasco and husband Brey, Crystal Ballow and husband Justin, Daryl Green Jr. and wife Rachel Marsh, Ashley Barton and husband Stacy Hukill, Shawna Robison and husband Randell, Chelsea Green and husband Cory Rosa, Rebecca Lynn Ficco, great grandchildren, Taiya Thomas, C.J.
