Sweetwater Rites Scheduled Today for Mrs. Jones

Sweetwater, Apr. 2 - Mrs. M. E. Jones, 52, who died in Sweetwater Hospital Saturday morning, was to be buried here Monday afternoon after funeral services at 2 p.m. in Highland Heights Methodist Church. The Rev. J. L. Mayhew, Methodist pastor, was to officiate and Patterson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jones, who had lived here 26 years, was the former Georgia Sibel Paden. She was born January 8, 1899 in Florence, Tex. She was married to Mr. Jones on Jan. 11, 1920.

Survivors are the husband; four sons, Carl E. Jones of Colorado City, DeRoy Jones of Japan, Gene Jones of Syracuse, N.Y. and Billy Ray Jones of Farmington, N.M.; one daughter, Mrs. Lovee Kentsler of Sweetwater; four brothers; one sister; and three grandchildren.
