Jeff was born in Ocee, Texas, to the late Dolph and Faye (Naylor) Stanford. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea and after returning home from Korea, he held jobs in both Waco and Dallas as a machinist. In later years, he enjoyed shooting pool, playing dominoes and watching TV.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; and two sisters
Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Stanford, of Waco, and Jimmy Stanford, of Fort Worth; two grandchildren; sisters: Ruth Necker, of Brenham, Aileen Lumpkin, of China Spring, Wilda Hurst, of Waco, and Jeanette Bone, of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Mildred Stanford, of Waco; other relatives and many friends.
