Chas. D. Straley Dies Here Suddenly Saturday Night
Charles D. Straley, 69 years old, who lived near Poolville, died at a Weatherford hospital Saturday night at 11:45 after having suffered a heat attack while in Weatherford.
The Straley family had resided near Poolville for 14 years, and he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Straley, and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Chas. Baker of Blanket, Texas; Mrs. L. J. Adkisson, Abilene; Burel and Arlie Straley, Poolville; Mrs. W. D. Hamilton of Benjamin, Texas; R. F. Straley, Mrs. F. G. Green and Mrs. Itha Mae Erwin, all of Olney, Texas.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Peeples, pastor of the Christian Chapel, Church of Christ, at Poolville, Monday afternoon at 3:00 and interment took place in the Poolville Cemetery.
