Mrs. Eva SCOTT, 87, Akron, died at her home in Akron at 11:30 p.m. Monday after an illness of two years.
Mrs. Scott was born July 17, 1873, near Akron, to James and Dora DAVIS CURTIS. She was married Oct. 12, 1898, to Dr. Emory SCOTT, who died in 1944. She was a member of the Akron Methodist church and of the Loyal Workers Class and the WSCS of the church. She spent her lifetime in the Akron area.
Suviving are one niece, Mrs. Helen BABER, Fort Myers, Fla.; one great-nephew, Robert BABER,Akron; one great-niece, Mrs. Gene HOLLAND, Fort Myers; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie CURTIS, who had been caring for her in her home.
Final arrangements are pending at the Haupert funeral home in Akron.

The Revs. Wesley BULLIS and Claude FAWNS will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Akron cemetery. Friends may call at the Haupert funeral home in Akron afternoon Thursday and at the church one hour prior to the services.
