Lucy Jane Spurlock was the 3rd child of Rev. John Fedrick Spurlock and Dialtha Jane Owens Spurlock, born in LA. She married William Christopher Lowrey on 12-22-1897 and had four children: Clinton D. Lowrey, Sr.; Clyde E. Lowrey; John C. Lowrey and Maude Lowrey. Lucy Jane's half-brother, Dayton Spurlock, is buried next to their grandmother, Ellender Vickers Spurlock (GRANDMA SPURLOCK). Lucy Jane's mother is buried at Hurricane Methodist Church Cemetery, Hurricane, Claiborne Parish, north if Arcadia. Her father and his second wife, Annie Lee Conville, are buried at Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Quitman, Jackson Parish.
