He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Bertha Crozier; and his older brother, LaVaughn Crozier. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Imogene 'Jean' Landrith Crozier.

He entered the US Navy in 1942; upon his retirement in 1978, Capt. Crozier received his second Legion of Merit award.
