The death of Mrs. Charles S. Stafford, of Culbertson, which occurred last Tuesday evening, will be the signal for genuine sorrow among her many acquaintances throughout the county. She had been ill but a few days and although every possible effort was made to save her life, the three doctors present could not stay the hand of Providence. Death was due to shock from the result of an operation performed on Sunday.
She was a Christian woman of amiable disposition and although her life had not been along a path bedecked with roses by reason of her poor health which has kept her in the hospital the greater part of her life, she bore up cheerfully and always strove to make the world better and happier for her existence. To the bereaved husband and family is extended the sympathy of the entire community.
