MRS. MATTIE PARRISH OF GOREVILLE DIES
Mrs. Mattie Parrish, 90, Goreville, died of a heart attack at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at home. She was a member of the Pulleys Mill Pentacostal Church. Mrs. Parris was born June 13, 1871, in Johnson County.
She leaves sons William and Edgar, both of Goreville, and Everett, Johnston City; daughter, Mrs. Hollis Correll, of Peoria; sisters, Mrs. Dora Hogue of Moline, and Mrs. Bertie Tucker of Marion; five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Goreville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell Hinckle, pastor of the Goreville Pentacostal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Terry Cemetery, Goreville.
