Geraldine V. Piersol, of Belpre, Ohio left this world on October 24, 2015 to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to join her husband Bill and son Carl in heaven forever.
She was born June 24, 1922 in Parkersburg West Virginia. First and foremost she was a godly lady who loved and served Jesus. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, attended Washington State Community College, a volunteer for Camden Clark Hospital, a homemaker and a faithful and beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Belpre.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her son Carl. parents William and Locia Alton, sister Lucille Barnhouse, and brother William B. Alton, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her dear friend and caretaker of many years Joan Knierim, her many friends at First Baptist Church of Belpre, Ohio staff at Cedar Grove Assisted Living, Shirley Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 11 :00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Belpre with Pastor David Nutt, officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum Parkersburg, WV.
