Mary Miralda, and Minnie Marie.
Clara Bell was a good, honest and dependable person.
Always willing to lend a helping hand. Always there for
her family.

Services for Mrs. Clara B. Merritt, age 79, Pittsboro, who died, August 17, at her home were, August 20, from the David A. Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro, with burial in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. Rev. Emmitt Sebastian, assisted by Rev. Byron Rohrig, officiated.
Born Aug. 4, 1901 at Hadley, the daughter of Joseph Bartley and Margaret Catherine (Runion) Albertson, she was married, Nov. 24, 1919, in Danville, to William Merritt, who preceded, Feb. 26, 1960. She was a member of the Birthday Club of the Pittsboro Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, William L. Merritt of Greensburg, Ky.; two daughters, Louzina Spoon and Margaret Spoon, both of Pittsboro; two step-sons, Walter R. Merritt of Danville and John Thomas Merritt of Reelsville; 12 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Logan Merritt, preceded.
