Mrs. Lena Schwartz died Sunday at her home or RFD 5, Mt. Vernon, at the age of 70 years, 11 months and eight days.
She was the widow of George Schwartz, who died March 5th, this year.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. at the Larsen Funeral Home in Abingdon, Ill., with the Rev. Ebright officiating, and burial will follow in the cemetery there.
The body will lie in State at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. today.
Mrs. Schwartz was born 7 Oct 1886 Avon, IL daughter of George & Caroline Mitchell Babbitt.
On November 14, 1907 she was married to Mr. Schwartz.
She is survived by one Daughter, Mrs. Jay Sherwood of Mt. Vernon; one grandchild; one Brother Kenneth Babbitt, Avon, IL; & three sisters: Mrs. Jessie Smith & Mrs. Lee O'Donnell, both of Avon, IL; Mrs. LeRoy Sampson, London Mills, Ill.
