Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Louise Barnett; two sons, Doyle Wayne and wife Tonya Barnett and Kenneth Eugene and wife Jeri Barnett of Hamburg; one daughter, Vivian Leah and husband Sonny McCain of Calhoun, LA; two brothers, Roby Glen Barnett of Harrison and Charles Edward Barnett of Crossett; two sisters, Opal Chapman of Minden, LA, and Lucille Bierbaum of Hamburg; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Bryan and Ollie Odelila Moore Barnett; one brother, James Barnett; and a sister, Allie Christy.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the Cromwell Funeral Home chapel with Revs. James Fleming and Kenneth Watt officiating. Pallbearers were Steve Wooten, Keith and Tim Barnett, Johnny Rushing, Buddy Brennan and Dewayne Chapman. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Callaway, Max Ray, Jerry Laing and Joe Kelley. Burial followed services at the Arkadelphia Cemetery
