Mrs. Myrtis Still Jones
Myrtis Still Jones, 82, widow of the late Oscar E. Jones, passed away on February 20, 2008, in Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Born in Barnwell County she was the daughter of the late Leroy C. and Ethel Mae Still and the daughter in law of Henry Winton and Willie Lou Jones of the Double Pond Community. She was a long time member of the Fairfax Baptist Church and a Homemaker.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 11:00AM at Double Pond Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Edmunds officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday evening at Mole Funeral Home in Barnwell, SC.
Memorials may be made to the Double Pond Baptist Church Building Fund.
Survivors include: son, Alton E. (Jill) Jones of Palm Coast, FL; daughter, Yvonne Jones (John B. III) O'Neal of North Augusta, SC; sisters, Willie Dell S. Keele of Barnwell, SC, Latrelle S. Toole of New Ellenton, SC,Barbara S. Fakoury of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren- J. Blanton O'Neal IV., Erin O. Schar, Daniel M. O'Neal (Deceased), Kevin E. Jones, Julie J. Delguercio; seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister Helen Black.
