Mrs. Bernice Elizabeth McLean, age 89, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. She was born August 25, 1926 in Hagerman, New Mexico to Martin and Grace Adams Moore.
Mrs. McLean was a resident of Walton County. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a very talented cook. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting.
Mrs. McLean is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eugene Boyd McLean, Sr., five sisters; Stella, Thelma, Maxine, Edith and Pauline and adopted son, Benjamin Joseph McLean, “BJ.”
Mrs. McLean is survived by sons; Eugene B. McLean, Jr and wife, Deidre of Mary Esther, Mark Charles McLean of Ponce de Leon, James Laddie Mclean and wife, Rae of Ponce de Leon and John Hal Dean McLean of Ponce de Leon, daughter, Bettie Kathryn Smith of Crestview, brother, Martin Moore of New York and one sister, Kathryn White of New Mexico. She was also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held 9:00~10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
