Mrs. Dayton Kuhlmann nee Mary Louise Jenschke of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at the age of 84 years. She was born in Gillespie County, Texas on December 20th, 1930 the daughter of Richard Jenschke and Bertha Fritz Jenschke. Worded as a secretary & bookkeeper for Fredericksburg Paint & Body Shop for many years. She married Dayton Kuhlmann of December 29th, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Elizabeth Hahne, and by two brothers, James and Marcus Jenschke.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Dayton Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg, three daughters & spouses, Joan & Kevin Wood of Fredericksburg, Texas, Lorna & Gary Eckhardt of Fredericksburg, Texas, Vanessa & Oscar Palacios of Houston, Texas, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, brother & spouse, Ignatz & Norma Jean Jenschke of Fredericksburg, two brothers in law, Homer Hahne of San Antonio and Clayton Kuhlmann of San Angelo, two sisters in law, Nellie Mills of San Antonio and Erline Jenschke of Fredericksburg

Funeral services for Mary Lou Kuhlmann will be held on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at 10:00 A. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Deacon Patrick Klein officiating.

Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg.

Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Chris Staats Memorial Scholarship Fund, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, or to the charity of their choice.

Visitation for Mrs. Kuhlmann will be on Thursday afternoon from 5 to 7:00 P. M. and on Friday morning from 7 to 10:00 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
