Julius Budd 'Hank' Hanyzewski born 14 Dec 1916 to Mother Josephea 'Josie' Stejbach & Father Ludovicus 'Louis' Michael Hanyzewski (1888 - 1944)

Uncertain if he was a twin as his COB states quite clearly he was the 2 of 2 children, and they had only been married since Jan.

Sadly his Mother passed when he was just an infant. In fact she passed 8 Dec 1918 to Diphtheria, further complicated by the Spanish flu epidemic. His father remarried the following year 19 Oct 1919 to Franciszka Klodzinski Hanyzewski (1902 - 1923) and they gave young Julius a brother, Edward Michael Hanyzewski, who was to later become a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs during WWII. Tragedy struck again when Mother Franciszka also died suddenly in 5 Jun 1923 due to a lung complication.

Half Siblings
Chester Strykul (1913 - 1998)
Peter Strikulis (1914 - 1914)
Sophie Ann Strykul Clemens (1915 - 2000)
Soloman Samuel Strykul (1918 - 1993)
Edward Michael Hanyzewski 1920–1991
John Arthur Strykul (1920 - 2012)
Daniel Strykul (1921 - 2011)
