CONNERSVILLE. - Joseph W. Ariens, 72 years old, 322 West Eleventh street, died Sunday. He had been a patient at Veterans hospital. Indianapolis. He was associated with his father, the late C. P. Ariens, in the brickyard business many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors are his widow, Winifred; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Joyner of Connersville, Mrs. Joseph Geier, Jr., and Mrs. Russell Jones, both of Richmond, and Mrs. Clara Risch of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; one brother, Charles Ariens of Connersville. Requiem high mass was held at St. Gabriel's Church, Connersville.
