Marie Sperling Passes At 61
Mrs. Marie M. Sperling passed away at a Stockton Hospital yesterday afternoon after a long illness. She was 61 years old. A native of North Dakota, Mrs. Sperling had made her home in Lodi for the past 20 years.
She was the wife of Gottlieb Sperling, and leaves the following sons and daughters: Wilhelm A. Sperling of Fresno, Mrs. Clara C. Shoup of Acampo, Mrs. Anna M. Weldon of Maywood, Frederick P. Sperling of Lodi, Mrs. Helen M. Destarac of Vallejo and Mrs. Esther P. Senecal of Lodi.
Also surviving are 19 brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ida Kraemer of Stockton, Christoph Geiszler of Bismarck, N.D., Benjamin Geiszler of Fargo, N.D., Mrs. Hulda Tannehill of Los Angeles, Mrs. Dorothea Steenblock of Lodi, Mrs. Anna Rothfusz of Ashley, N.D., John M. Geiszler of Ashley, N. D., Mrs. Helen Banik of Lodi, Gustav Geiszler of Minot, N.D., Theodore Geiszler of Lodi, Mrs. Eva Trischer of Wishek, N. D., Andrew Geiszler of Ashley, Mrs. Irene Hintz of Lodi, Mrs. Lydia Semerley of McMinnville, Ore., Adolph Geiszler of Corvallis, Ore., Albert Geiszler of Warren, Ohio, Miss Esther Geiszler of Livermore, and Leonard Geiszler of Billings, Mont.
Mrs. Sperling is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 nieces and 28 nephews.
